  • Organize events
  • Canvassing on issues that are relevant to youth
  • Create a political space by youth and for youth

Young New Democrats

The NDP youth are already hard at work. With a newly organized Humber River-Black Creek Young New Democrats (HRBC YND), we are all set to hit the ground running this spring.

The NDP needs to lead in bringing youth back into progressive politics.

Youth face a daunting new reality. Unaffordable housing, difficult job prospects, environmental sustainability, political instability across the globe. Creating a positive space for local youth to organize and give back to the community is just one step in creating a better tomorrow.

You can help.

Donate to the campaign. Here is how:

Humber River Black Creek has a rich culture of community organizing. From tenants fighting for Landlord Licensing, organizing around car insurance reform or fighting for public education, we have been leading fights across Ontario.

Our community grassroots organizing has always been a strong part of who we are. As an elected school board Trustee and as the Federal candidate for the NDP, I have seen the impact that youth have made in our organizing. We have time and time again seen our youth rise up to fight for a better world in dozens of campaigns.

It is time for us to give back to the youth in our area.
